More than Just a Burger

Burgers by Josh or BBJ’s as it’s affectionately known by his fans started from humble beginnings, a chef’s passion for all things burgers and American cuisine.

Chef Josh Arthurs is a formally trained chef with ten years experience under his belt and has worked in some of Sydney’s best restaurants. “This is what gives me the creative edge on my burgers” he says, Josh is constantly updating his menu and running weekly specials, some times daily!

It started with doing one night pop-up events in less well known locations around the Sydney CBD and surrounding suburbs, and quickly evolved into a residency at well known Former Upper Deck in Sydney’s Greenwood Plaza.

Burgers By Josh has since moved on from that location having established a popular permanent base at the iconic Annandale Hotel.

The long awaited return to North Sydney’s Greenwood plaza arrived in mid February, under the banner of BBJ Express,  a restaurant and take away shops. The restaurant has seating for 62 patrons.
